In 1979, Alice Cooper's Indian art store in Scottsdale, Arizona is hit by a firebomb. Gone are $200,000 worth of artifacts and some of Cooper's gold records, which were stored in the back. Cooper said maybe a "disco-music freak" was to blame, because he had been making some "anti-disco remarks."

In 1982, Menken & Ashman's musical "Little Shop of Horrors," premieres in NYC.

In 1991, "Pee-Wee's Playhouse", TV Childrens; last aired on CBS. It was scheduled to continue through the summer, but an incident in a porn movie house forced CBS to cancel it early.
